Nature of Work:
Under general supervision of the Public Works and Utilities Director, or Designee, provides direction and development of the City’s geographic information system (GIS) and maintenance management system (MMS).
Salary: $67,739.36 - $80,897.44 annually ($32.567 - $38.893 per hour). Excellent benefits include longevity pay after completion of 5 years, medical, dental and vision coverage for employee and dependents, life insurance, long-term disability insurance, vacation/sick leave accrual, PERS retirement and deferred compensation plan matching. Assist in maintaining the Geographic Information System (GIS) and support the GIS operations for the City; supply related GIS information to internal and external customers. REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma, GED or equivalent, and Associates degree in GIS technology. Two years increasingly responsible experience with GIS and GPS systems. Consideration may be given to any combination equivalent to training and/or job experience that provides the required knowledge and skills. Valid State driver's license.
