The Position The Digital Solutions Department is seeking a Programmer Analyst. This position enhances, maintains, and makes recommendations for a wide range of business applications at various levels of application architecture by using a variety of programming languages and technologies. The Programmer Analyst is a member of the Information Technology Applications Team. The duties of the position include working closely with business partners in support of new technology initiatives and extending existing solutions to meet fast changing business requirements. This position requires experience with a variety of technologies and a willingness to learn and adopt new approaches to solve business problems as the District develops innovative solutions. Qualifications KNOWLEDGE OF:
EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING GUIDELINES: Any combination of experience and training that would likely provide the required knowledges, skills, and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the KSAs would be: Increasingly responsible experience using programming languages and tools, as well as experience with relational databases. Experience in two of the four following areas: 1) Web development (IIS, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, ASP.NET, Java) 2) SharePoint basic administration ( creation of custom lists/libraries, permissions management, development of custom InfoPath list forms, implementation of OOTB workflows, and other administrative functions) 3) ESRI ArcGIS 4) SQL Server Integration and Reporting Services College coursework in computer science, computer programming, object-oriented and relational database design, or related field.
